It was a great pleasure to meet with YB Chow Kon Yeow and the MDEC team at PIHEC 2022. We discussed the current and upcoming MDEC projects in Penang, and how we can work together to support the growth of the digital economy in the state.

I was particularly excited to learn about MDEC’s new Halal Tech initiative. This initiative aims to accelerate the development and adoption of Halal-compliant digital technologies in Malaysia. I believe that Halal Tech has the potential to play a major role in the growth of the global Halal economy, and I am committed to supporting MDEC in this important initiative.

I would like to thank YB Chow Kon Yeow and the MDEC team for their time and support. I look forward to working with them to make Penang a leading center for Halal Tech and the digital economy.
