I Just Completed Another Amazing Canva Class – From Basics to Pro, in a Small Group!

I recently wrapped up a powerful Canva class at my Lotusartsskills training room — and this one was extra special. It was a small group session, filled with eager learners who wanted to master Canva from the ground up. And I must say, they didn’t just learn… they transformed.

When I designed this class, my goal was simple: help people go from “I don’t know where to start” to “Wow, I just created that!” And that’s exactly what happened. The class started with the basics — how Canva works, layout settings, how to use templates, fonts, and colors. But as the session progressed, we moved into more advanced design tips, visual storytelling, branding, and even explored Canva’s newest AI tools like Magic Write and Magic Design.

What I loved most was the energy in the room. Because it was a small group, I could give individual attention, answer specific questions, and even do mini reviews of their designs. We laughed, learned, designed, and explored creativity together. Everyone created 3 to 4 real-world designs — some for business, some for social media, and others just for fun.

One of the participants told me, “I always thought design was only for creative people. But now I see that with the right tools and guidance, anyone can create something beautiful.” That made my day.

This session reminded me why I love teaching Canva. It’s not just about design — it’s about giving people confidence to express themselves visually. Some of the participants were beginners, others were small business owners — but by the end of the class, they were all designing like pros.
